What This Warranty Covers
Molding Mud warrants that your concrete product will be free from material defects in workmanship for one (1) year from the date it is delivered to your home or project site.
This means your product is manufactured in accordance with standard industry practices and will perform as intended under normal use when properly installed and maintained.
What Is Normal for Concrete (Not a Defect)
Concrete is a natural material and will vary from piece to piece. The following are normal characteristics and are not considered defects:
- Hairline cracks or surface crazing
- Variations in color, tone, or texture
- Small surface air holes (“bug holes”)
- Efflorescence (a light powdery residue that can appear on concrete)
- Normal wear, weathering, or patina over time
These characteristics are part of the beauty and uniqueness of handcrafted concrete products.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
- Improper installation or failure to follow installation instructions
- Damage during delivery, handling, or installation
- Improper cleaning, sealing, or maintenance
- Use of harsh, acidic, or abrasive cleaners
- Misuse, abuse, impact, scratching, staining, or chipping
- Drilling into, cutting, or modifying the product after delivery
- Structural movement, settling, or environmental conditions beyond normal residential use
What You Must Do
Please inspect your product upon delivery. Any visible damage or concerns must be reported in writing within seven (7) days of delivery.
If you believe there is a covered defect, contact Molding Mud by email at warranty@moldingmud.com promptly with photos and a description of the issue.
What We Will Do
If Molding Mud determines that a product is covered under this warranty, we will, at our option:
- Repair the product,
- Replace the product
This warranty does not cover removal, reinstallation, labor costs, or any related project expenses.
Limitation of Liability
Molding Mud is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of use, loss of profits, project delays, or damage to other property. Our total liability under this warranty will not exceed the original purchase price of the product.
